This is what I'd like for my birthday

The penthouse located at New York's The Pierre Hotel encompasses the top three floors. Spectacular 360-degree views of Manhattan are found in this incomparable property. It encompasses 16 grand rooms - including five master bedrooms, 7 full baths and three half-baths, five working fireplaces, oak flooring with mahogany borders throughout, separate guest suites plus staff accommodations. The living room is considered the most magnificent privately owned room in the world...

What do you mean you don't want to spend too much on me? It's only $70,000,000 US - don't be stingy!

Richard I really don't think that's the one you want... who wants half a bath?

Good point tammiodo - imagine the bills for water damage from the hotel downstairs!

You're not trying to make yourself look more important than you really are, are you?

Because your counter counts all but a few of your own visits, doesn't it?

Not that I'm suggesting you shouldn't frequently visit your own blog, of course. That would be ridulous!

You know that building in Gertrude Street, just past Manfax, might just foot the bill... if you squint your eyes just so... maybe close one... spin around ten times... wish like hell.

Fletcher - I think I know the building you mean. Let me try the squinting thing and I'll get back to you...

Richard, are we one of the same?

The New York Times real estate section is my little fantasy land.

Please admire my current dream property but a few blocks from your home.

But if someone could please explain to me why, when you can clearly afford to pay $12.3 million for a home would you care if it comes with a washer and dryer?

Every little convenience helps, ukelele - and perhaps having a washer and dryer helps when it comes to hiring staff to do all the cleaning for you? *grin*
